His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, officially inaugurated the 43rd edition of GITEX GLOBAL. Subsequently, the event, recognized as the world’s largest technology event, commenced at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) today.
The 43rd edition of GITEX GLOBAL, taking place from October 16 to 20, 2023, has reached full capacity at DWTC. It is poised to host 6,000 exhibitors and 180,000 tech executives from 180 countries.
During his opening remarks, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid emphasized the event’s global significance. He spoke of it as a gathering of the brightest minds and innovators in the technology industry from across the world. He highlighted the UAE’s historical role in uniting these experts in a shared mission to shape the future of technology. The collaboration fosters strategies, insights, and partnerships that advance technology and improve the quality of human life.
The event will see more than 1,800 startups participating in Expand North Star. It is the world’s largest startup event hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. This event is set to explore burgeoning opportunities within a highly agile, diverse, and tech-driven digital economy. It will occur from October 15 to 18, 2023, at its new Dubai Harbour location.
During his visit, His Highness toured several stands, engaging with leading technology voices. He explored innovative products and services from companies such as Etisalat, Huawei, Beyon, Salesforce, G42, Microsoft, and IBM.

II. GITEX GLOBAL 2023: A Pinnacle of Global Tech Innovation
GITEX GLOBAL and Expand North Star jointly cover a vast area of 2.7 million square feet, representing a 40% increase over the previous year.
